The COVID-19 pandemic has turned the world that we know upside down. The Movement Control Order (MCO) implemented by the Malaysian government since mid-March 2020 had restricted our lifestyles in many ways. Despite the end of MCO set for 9th June,
2020, things are never going to be the same again for everyone. It is the dawn of the ‘New Normal’.
However, as the saying goes, ‘necessity is the mother of all inventions’; there must be hundreds of unheard stories of ‘triumph’ over the MCO and our restricted lifestyles. MIRM is supporting and promoting UNDP and UNICEF’s contest to collect stories of innovation and triumph in handling the MCO and adapting your lives to the new normal. The story can be yours or something from your community. This is a good time to share stories that inspire and motivate others; at the same time keep yourself occupied in making your mark AND win a price!
