He is a member of the Association of Information Systems (AIS) and the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA). He has conducted training, workshop and delivered many blueprints in the areas of Business Transformation, Business Intelligence and Analytics, Digital Strategy, Data Governance, Data Warehousing, Enterprise Information Systems, Virtual Manufacturing, and Rapid Prototyping.
He also plays a key leadership role in overseeing product marketing groups, marketing communications, compete, business operations, enterprise marketing, public relations as well as customer and partner experience efforts.
In his previous role working with the International Telecommunication Union (a United Nations’ specialized agency), Philip was instrumental in assisting governments globally in enhancing their cybersecurity posture through various initiatives and projects including National Cybersecurity Strategy, Child Online Protection, National Computer Emergency Response Team, Capacity Building and International Cooperation.
He is an industry expert panel member of Universiti Teknologi Malaysia’s Advanced Informatics School and the Malaysia-Japan International Institute of Technology in the areas of Systems Engineering and Precision Engineering.
Within the practice of employment law, Aneera handles both litigious matters such as industrial relations disputes, and non-litigious matters such as employment advisory work in relation to dismissals, termination, retrenchments, foreign workers, as well as matters regarding mergers and acquisitions. As for civil litigation, Aneera handles an array of matters relating to construction, contract, and tort.
Jeremiah comes with a wealth of experience having worked in the corporate sector since 1997 prior to entering active legal practice. Prior to being admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor, he was attached with a leading financial institution in Malaysia.
Jeremiah commenced his legal career in 1999 and was part of the banking, real estate, corporate and commercial practice group of a large Kuala Lumpur based law firm. Over the years, Jeremiah has acted for a wide range of clients from various industries and has extensive experience in corporate banking, project financing, real estate and property transactions, corporate and commercial matters, joint ventures, mergers & acquisitions, capital markets, privacy and personal data protection and employment law.
He has a personal liking for Sports Law and Trust Laws but he is equally skilled in handling Property Transactions. On a few occasions, Richard Wee has acted as a consultant in corporate matters. Richard is also known for his passion for Civil Liberty issues, which includes Human Rights and Criminal Defence Litigation.
Richard’s legal practice encompasses a wide range of areas, including Company & Contracts Law, Trust & Equity Laws, Tort Liabilities, Criminal Defence & Civil Liberties. He is seen to be a strategist and also a commendable Advocate. At the moment, Richard is among the few lawyers in Malaysia well verse in Sports Law. He hopes to continue pushing the boundaries of Sports Law to encourage usage of the same which will in turn, enhance the sports industry to have better compliance and more affirmative regulations.
Outside his practice, Richard spends much time with his family and supports Everton Football Club of the English Premier League.
Dipendra is well versed in civil, commercial and banking litigation and has vast experience in the various stages of dispute management in both Court and arbitration proceedings. He has advised clients on such diverse areas of law such as breach of contract, banking and finance, breach of directors’ duties, fraud and negligence, insolvency litigation, shareholders disputes, libel and slander and construction disputes.
Dipendra’s expertise includes advisory work, strategy advocacy and conducting hearings and trials before the Courts, arbitral tribunals as well as appeals before the Appellate Courts. His expertise includes conduct of enforcement actions including committal proceedings and other modes of execution within and outside Malaysia.
In the area of civil litigation, Louis acts as counsel in a wide variety of matters in all tiers of the civil courts in Malaysia.
In employment law, Louis has vast experience in providing advisory services to local and foreign clients on a wide array of matters, including recruitment, termination, reorganisation, downsizing and cross border mergers & acquisition exercises. He also acts as counsel in employment disputes in the Industrial Court and all tiers of the Malaysian Courts.
Louis has been certified as a “Tutor Trainer Trial Advocacy” by the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn in 2011. He regularly provides training to young advocates through the Advocacy Training Programme conducted by the Malaysian Bar and is a committee member of the Bar Council’s Advocacy Training Committee.
Louis is also the Designated Legal Counsel of the Austrian Embassy in Kuala Lumpur.
Mr. Andrew obtained his LLB from the University of Wolverhampton in 1992, and started his career as a law lecturer immediately thereafter. He completed his Certificate in Legal Practice and was called to the Malaysian Bar in 1998, gaining vast experience in criminal and civil litigation. After a time, he forayed into the corporate world in Singapore where he was involved in international trade and trade financing.
Mr Daniel obtained his LLB and LLM (specialising in International Dispute Resolution) from the University of London. He was called to the Malaysian Bar as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaysia in 2005 after completing his Certificate in Legal Practice. While practising both civil and criminal litigation, he taught law on a part time basis. His passion for teaching led him to making it his full time profession.
After that, she was hired by PETRONAS Holdings Technology & Enginering Division as Head of Strategic Communications & Branding, tasked with branding their technology products & was part of the Innovation Team where we successfully implemented the Sopheon Stage-Gate (from Germany) Process and software to manage technology product inventions and innovations from PETRONAS Technology & Engineering Division which is PETRONAS's R&D Arm. After 5 years with the T&E Division, she ventured into her own online bakery business calles Sheznie's Bakery and then was called back to rebrand PETRONAS ICT Division 2 years later (tasked with leveraging IT solutions for the Oil & Gas Sectors through strategic communications & branding within PETRONAS). Her last corporate job before she endeavored into her own entrepreneurial journey was with Habib Jewels as the Asst GM and Head of Branding & Marketing. HABIB JEWELS is the leading Malaysian jewellery retailer with supplementary brands encompassing customer lifestyle trends & brands like Pandora & Ice Watch.
In terms of experience in Retail, logistics, distribution and warehousing, she had the distinct and life changing opportunity of working in Wal-Mart, the largest retailer in the world right out of college in San Jose, California, where she learnt the importance of a robust, agile & sound backend process & system (SMART Retail System) which works like clockwork to ensure replenishment, stock in/out, distribution & customer satisfaction is monitored on a real time updated information so me as the store manager will be able to make informed decisions to improve the customer experience. She also had the privilege to undergo management training at the Wal-Mart Distribution Center in California where you get to see the inner workings of how a product gets from the manufacturer to the distribution center to the Wal-Mart stores and finally to the customer. Although technology has greatly improved in this day and age, with Amazon Fulfillment Centers using robotics and drones to help them manage and distribute their products more efficiently, Wal-Mart still places an importance of the customer experience of meeting their expectations at the lowest cost.
